Apple Walnut Bread
Apple Walnut bread is very much like my Blueberry Banana Bread, just add apples and walnut instead of blueberry and banana. Well, that, and a few more changes.
Ingredients
dry: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt 3/4 cup dark brown sugar | wet: ½ cup canola oil 2 eggs beaten 1 cup unsweetened applesauce 1 heaping cup of chopped apples ½ cup chopped walnuts 1 Tbsp butter |
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F
- grease a loaf pan with butter
- combine the dry ingredients in a bowl; stir in the oil and the beaten eggs till well incorporated; fold in the applesauce, chopped apples and walnuts
- pour into the greased loaf pan and bake in 350°F oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
